Masters Of The (LifePath) Universe

There would appear to be thousands of different routes to mastery. Naturally it depends greatly on what you particularly want to master (and, in fact, figuring that out is sometimes the most difficult step in this process). It also depends on what you read.

I strive for mastery of my home based business; I have been working towards this mastery for years now. Will I ever actually get there? I’m not sure. I actually don’t think I will, but that’s more of a reflection on how I judge the concept of ‘mastery’ rather than any particular failing.

I think that mastery of any particular area is about the process of getting better at it: doing a better job and continually achieving more. It is NOT about some arbitrary ’success’ criteria, and certainly not about how much money I make from my home based business.

For me, the key to mastery of my LifePath business is the practice of self-reflection. Every week (or day, or month, or whatever) I sit down and ask myself what is going well (and consequently what I would like to repeat) and what isn’t going so well.

As I reflect today I notice that I am having enormous success with the LifePath products. These products are solid and pretty much sell themselves; I’m having huge fun building a fulfilling business around them.

What’s not going so well? At the moment, nothing! But it was these moments of introspection that allowed me to see that my previous attempt at a home based business – I tried working with Liberty League International – just wasn’t working for me. There was something ultimately unsatisfying about the products and experience that they offered.

Am I happy with the direction that I’m heading right now? You bet. Am I on the path towards mastery of my home business? Always.

Ultra-Slim: From Spam to Bam!

Checking my emails is one of those chores that just has to be done. There’s very rarely ever anything in there that I actually want to get. Mainly I just get spam for things I have no interest in. Why do these people do this? Do they actually get anything out of it, or is it just purely malicious?

I saw a piece of spam recently that advertised the latest in weight loss aids: acai berry. I had heard about acai on Oprah the night before, so this particular email piqued my interest somewhat. I didn’t click anything in the email, naturally, but I went to my old friend Google to try and find out more about it. It made for really interesting reading, that’s for sure.

To cut a long story short, I ended up ordering some acai berry supplement pills. I was interested in the anti-aging properties, and I imagined it would be something that was just good for: like cod liver oil. I got the supplements delivered – a free trial, or so it seemed – and I took them as prescribed. So far so good.

Of course I was then hit with this infamous re-bill scam. I managed to get it canceled eventually, but what a hassle!

By then I was convinced that acai was doing me some good, so I scoured the web for something a little more reputable. I happened upon a few acai berry Ultra-Slim reviews almost by accident, and it looked like that was the product for me. I checked out the Acai Berry Site and found that they did a 100% pure puree version; this sounded interesting and I snapped up a couple bottles. No re bills this time. No problem.

The puree is actually, in my opinion, much better than the supplements. I feel that it’s doing me a lot of good, and not just in the anti-aging area. One of the active ingredients in Ultra-Slim is Essentra Slim (I guess that’s where it gets its name) which combines with the natural properties of acai berry to provide a potent appetite suppressant.

I guess that makes this a happy ending… so far, anyway!
